Father's Day is fast approaching, and Blinker has gotten his papa a nice gift. I have been looking for presents for my own father, and am sad that this year's ultimate gift* is sold out. I really wanted to get Big Joe a White Castle slyder-scented candle, but so did many other people -- they're nowhere to be found or had. I guess instilling a love of onions and steamed beef is an integral part of being an American dad, and one that my own father definitely passed on to me (and his grandkids). I'll have to find something else for Big Joe.
(*Ultimate gifts in previous years have included a baseball jersey from the Onion store, and last year's "#2 Dad" t-shirt.)
