Double Whammy

It's been an interesting month of sickness and non-sleep in the Cleknislements household. One month ago, I brought Wyatt to the doctor because he had a cough that he just couldn't shake. (Also, his cough was waking him up several times per night -- and he was waking us up.) The doctor diagnosed him with bronchiolits and sent us home with a nebulizer so we could give him an albuterol mist a few times per day. Wy was a good sport about getting "misted," even though he had to wear a mask and get hooked up to a loud machine.

The albuterol helped somewhat but he still has the cough. We are bringing him back to the doctor tomorrow to make sure he doesn't have croup (or allergies). We hope he doesn't have cat allergies because this would mean we'd have to get rid of him. The cats were here first, after all.  (Just kidding, of course ...)

To make life more interesting, he's getting 2 top teeth -- they look giant and Bugs Bunny-like in his tiny head. This means he has 4 teeth now, all at 8 months old.

The cough & the new teeth have made this a drooly, snotty, sleepless month.  But who can complain when the baby is this cute?
