... to Grandmother's house we went! The big trip to Ohio for T'giving was a success. The weather was great once we arrived, we got to eat Thanksgiving dinner twice, and Wyatt's paternal great-aunts and cousins threw a surprise shower for him that I completely did not expect. (This surprise party really was a surprise!)
Wyatt was mostly good for the car trip there and back; we had to stop every 2-3 hours for changing/feeding/stretching. Who can blame him for not loving his carseat? Being in one of those seems about as comfortable as sitting in a flowerpot. Overall, he was a really good sport about travelling, irregular nap times, my excessive intake of pumpkin pie spice, and everything else.
While in Ohio, Wy got plenty of time to hang out with his extended family, like Grandpa Bill and cousin Adelyn.

Adelyn showed Wyatt the right way to play with toys, as only an older relative can.
On the way back we visited my friend Jen, whose little boy Joe is Wyatt's age. Exactly. Both Wyatt and Joe were born on July 16 -- what are the odds of that? I assure you, it was not planned that way. Joe and Wyatt did not pay too much attention to each other ...
... but they did pay plenty of attention to Joe's older sister Emma, much like the mouse pays attention to the hawk.
All this activity made him tired. Now that he's a pro at dealing with holidays, he has the 1-2 whammy of Christmas and baptism coming up, back to back.
