Wyatt is almost 4 months old and is entering what's been called the golden age of babies -- he's good-natured and interested, but not yet too mobile. He's kicking, rolling over (front to back and back to front) and scooting around, though; changing him is like changing an upside-down crab, if crabs wore diapers. At bath time, he's like a bird, splashing all over. I have a feeling this relative immobility will be short-lived.
It's also a golden age for hair -- he's quite blond, much to my surprise. (see picture, left) His eyes are still blue ... will they change or not?
He loves his vibrating chair with its pull-toys. He is good at pulling the rings and getting the different noises from each toy. Mom & Dad tire of this chair and its variety of 4 sounds long before he does.
In 2 weeks we'll go on an 11-hour road trip to Ohio for Thanksgiving. Will his good mood last for the whole trip? Stay tuned.
